An Austrian Tradition
After coming to America from Austria in 2011, I wanted to bring the flavors and traditions of my home country with me. Following Austrian tradition, I was inspired to create a sustainable oil-seed culture, connecting local farms in upstate New York to local markets. My organic cold-pressed oils and proteins are the realization of this dream and the fulfillment of values shared by my family, our Austrian culture, our local farmers, and now… you!
From my family to yours,
I will repost my review for Ulli's organic pumpkin seeds here and add that this powdered option has the added benefit of being able to easily sprinkle this nutritional, tasty powder on the food of your choice if you don't have the luxury of owning a grinder. I put this wonderful product on my salads, soups, cereals, in my smoothies at night - pumpkin seeds have been known to help with better sleep, etc... - Love me some Ulli's organic pumpkin seeds ^__^ I love Ulli's organic pumpkin seeds. They are extremely fresh, GREAT taste (special Styrian variety), and as a bonus are very healthy in many ways. In years past pumpkin seeds were only available in USA markets from Chinese farmers which worried me due to the toxic growing conditions in that country, as noted in many articles, so I never purchased them. I was so happy to discover Ulli's company, their pumpkin seeds are grown here in the United States and are ORGANIC, free from harmful chemicals and pesticides. I especially like that they are high in Zinc which supports immune function and decreases inflammation, a nutrient that plays many vital roles in your body, the body doesn’t naturally produce zinc, you must obtain it through food or supplements. And for me a healthy ORGANIC FOOD source is the best option. Reports have been coming out lately from medical professionals regarding the benefits of zinc during this pandemic. I snack on them all the time, just wish I had received a larger quantity in this delivery. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!
Delicious! My family loves the pumpkin powder on yogurt and especially as an ice cream topping. It adds a subtle nutty texture that the kids love.
